This intimate wedding was incredibly special. There were only 30 guests which made it super close-knit. You could feel the energy in the room, it was full of laughter, full of love, and full of support for this beautiful couple. Even though I had just met them, I felt like I was home and I was part of the family. Both the bride and groom are also crazy talented artists themselves. A few of the cakes were also made by one of the guests! I honestly love when local vendors especially guests contribute to the wedding day. It just makes it all that much more special.
Kitsilano Neighbourhood House is a great venue option for smaller intimate weddings and wedding receptions in the city. Even though it is a residential area, there are still many spots for portraits in the neighbourhood. Plus there are beaches and ocean views nearby if time allows for portrait sessions.
The reception was deliciously catered by Sula Indian Restaurant. Not only was it delicious, but it was also absolutely STUNNING. Probably one of the best presentations I have seen this season at a wedding.
