Don't get me wrong, I love traditional weddings but I equally love when couples do things their way and what best reflects them. In this case, the traditional white wedding dress just was not their vibe and I absolutely love and fully support that. At the end of the day the wedding day is to celebrate you and your relationship and nothing else matters.

Heritage Hall is incredibly unique and a great venue option for couples that want something smaller and more intimate. The architecture, the ceilings, and the columns inside offer such a beautiful touch that you can get away with minimal decoration and it would still be beautiful. This was truly the perfect venue for this special couple.

Another plus is that since it is within the city, there are lots of places to go that are within distance for the couple portraits if desired. In this case, we actually just walked around the block and found this stunning structure with the most beautiful vines and greenery and it was the best backdrop. For couples who do want to venture out further, there are many other options that are nearby such as Queen Elizabeth Park, VanDusen Botanical Garden, Stanley Park, or even any of the local beaches! So many options.
