This shoot was super special because two years prior, I had the privilege to help photograph their engagement session and now they have a little one on the way! Being able to capture a couple's life before they grow their family is an incredible honour. We all made the drive out to West Vancovuer to the oh so popular Whytecliff Park. It's always fun coming here because you never know what to expect. It ended up being super sunny which kept us warm and it was pure lovely.

In the last photo you can see Kaelin braved the cold waters and went in. She scared us all to death when she lost her balanced from a huge wave that crept up on us and nearly fell entirely into the water. She and the baby are perfectly fine and being the trooper that she is, laughed it off. In the end, it was well worth it because she looks stunning in that last image.

Tip to all couples and photographers if shooting near the water to always bring a towel or even a change of clothes/shoes regardless if you had planned to go into the water or not! Remember to be safe and always be aware of your surroundings!
