When it's winter in Vancouver, the weather can be unpredictable and unexpected. As a result choosing a location indoors especially for a surprise marriage proposal is definitely a good idea. This one was super special because not only was the marriage proposal a surprise but Ron surprised Lucy with all of their closest friends that were hiding at the gallery. It was so incredible to see her shocked face when she turned the corner to see all of her friends standing there.

I cannot lie and say this was one of the most challenging locations to capture a surprise proposal because of the constrained space and the fact that I wanted to be hidden until the very last second possible. Additionally, being an outdoor and primarily natural light photographer, this was also a challenge. However, I am so happy with the results and all the fun rooms at the gallery we got to play around with. I would highly recommend checking it out! Thank you to Moon and Back Gallery!
